Who we are
Stay Warm Insulation Limited (company number 11132020), 50 Vista Centre, Salisbury Road, Hounslow, Middlesex TW4 6JQ. We decide how the information on this website and in our records is used. For any question or request, email info@staywarminsulation.com or call 020 3411 1408.
What we collect
- When you ask for a callback: your name, phone number, email if you give it, postcode, the best time to call, your message, how you found us and the page you sent it from.
- When we survey and quote: your address, details of your property, photos and videos of it, measurements, our notes, quotes, invoices and payments.
- When we talk to you: emails, texts, WhatsApp messages and notes of calls.
- If you accept cookies: the advert you came from (see Cookies below).
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry, survey your home, quote and do the work. This is a step you ask for before a contract, and then the contract itself.
- To keep the records that tax law, our certifications (PAS 2030 and TrustMark) and your guarantees need.
- To run our business well, for example to see which pages bring enquiries. This is in our legitimate interests.
- Google Ads cookies: only with your consent.
We never sell your information, and we send no marketing emails unless you ask for them.
Who we share it with
Only what each one needs:
- The companies that run our systems for us: Vercel (this website), Supabase (our database and files, kept in London), our email provider, and Hetzner (a server in Germany that runs our office tools).
- OpenAI, Anthropic and Google, whose AI services our office tools use to read enquiries, notes and site videos for us.
- Google Ads, only if you accept cookies. Then, when you send the form, Google receives a scrambled copy of your email and phone number, so it can count the enquiry.
- Our installers, for your job: your name, address, phone number and the work.
- TrustMark, our certification body and guarantee providers, to register the work and your guarantee.
- Our accountants and HMRC, for invoices.
Some of these companies are outside the UK, in the USA and the EU. Your information is then protected by the safeguards UK law requires.
How long we keep it
- An enquiry that does not lead to work: up to 2 years after we last spoke.
- A customer's records (quotes, invoices, photos and videos of the work): 6 years after the work, for tax. What your guarantee needs, for as long as the guarantee lasts.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, and ask us to correct it, delete it, stop using it or limit how we use it. Email info@staywarminsulation.com. We answer within one month. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies of its own for visitors. If you press Accept on the cookie bar, Google Ads sets its cookies (their names start with _gcl) and your browser keeps the advert you came from for 90 days, so we can see which adverts bring enquiries. If you press Reject, none of this happens. Your browser keeps your answer, so we do not ask again.
Our staff tools use a login cookie, for our staff only.
Changes
When we change how we use your information, we update this page and the date at the top.
